Angela places an emphasis on meeting clients where they are at any point in their lives. She recognizes that therapy can be difficult work and tailors her approach to each client’s individual experience. She will work alongside you in order to make you feel safe, understood, and heard so that you are able to heal from old wounds and grow to your full potential.
EDUCATION
Angela obtained her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Florida.
EXPERIENCE
Angela’s training and experience working in various inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment facilities has allowed her to work with a diverse population of individuals with a wide range of diagnoses. Angela is an EMDR Trained Clinician and has worked with clients who have experienced trauma. She also has experience treating individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and addiction. Additionally, she has experience conducting DBT group therapy focused on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
